Artistic Director: Jacqui Honess-Martin

 Jacqui Honess-Martin is an emerging director who thrives on ambitious, large scale productions and international collaborations.

She graduated from Goldsmiths College in Drama and Theatre Arts and has trained at The National Theatre Studio and the Young Vic.

Jacqui began her career in Arts Administration, supporting incoming companies including Pina Bausch at Sadler’s Wells, minding the stagedoor at the Almeida Kings Cross and selling tickets at The Southbank Centre before becoming a Producer with Cheek by Jowl from 2004 – 2008.

In addition to SMITH and Antigone for InSite Performance, Jacqui has directed: Auricular: A Season of Live Audio Drama at Theatre 503, Atman at The Finborough and Necessary Evil at the Junction in Cambridge.  She has directed at East 15, Drama Centre London and RADA.

She has assisted in the West End (Arcadia), The Royal Court  (Remembrance Day and The Faith Machine) and the National Theatre (People, UK Tour).

Tell Out My Soul, her first original play, was staged at the Public Theater, New York in 2008.
